The work, created in 1924 in Paris after one of the many models who posed in Foujita’s studio, was on display in Paris, at Bonhams, 4 rue de la Paix, on Wednesday, September 11, Thursday, September 12, and Friday, September 13, exhibited among the highlights of the public sale planned by Bonhams in London on October 10.
This masterpiece, long held in a private collection in Japan, will therefore soon be auctioned in Europe.

Sale result: On Thursday, October 10, the work was sold for 1. £400,000: Japanese acquisition. The work is therefore returning to Japan!
